2011-2012

New and exciting workshops in this programme include Furniture Painting, Traditional Quilting, Three Dimensional Wire Sculpture from a life model,  Collage, Still Life and Picture Framing.  The ever popular Life and General Painting courses will continue on Tuesday evenings and new members are very welcome.

I am delighted that Ruth Issett has fitted in a two day workshop on Colour in September 2012.  Her courses are always stimulating and inspiring, so book early to be sure of a place.

This year the annual Exhibition of Work by students will be held in the Ganary on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October 2011 during normal castle opening hours.  Please contact me if you would like to attend the preview on the evening of Friday 30 Septmeber from 7.00 - 9.00 pm.

A list of local hotels can be provided for those who want to combine a study day with a longer visit to the area, and a chance to explore this historica market town set on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
